Classic café and bakery shop near check point Charlie, they have the cheapest prices.. I could recommend for a winter brunch.

I gave this place the highest score, I am a frequent customer. I had a bad experience today. I bought takeaway and other things to consume on the premises. They didn't tell me they had changed the schedule and were close to graduation! I couldn't even drink my coffee!

My first visit to the Junge bakery took place almost four years ago in Hamburg. I was there on business and looking for a small breakfast because I didn't want to serve the customer without something in my stomach. I noticed Junge immediately, as they advertised primarily with the acceptance of card payments (“With us you can pay by card - even if it's just a bread roll!”). Since I definitely belong to the target group in this case (I hardly use any cash anymore, my wallet doesn't even have a coin pocket) I was of course immediately enthusiastic. Card payments cost the merchant approx. 5-15 ct, depending on the provider and contract conditions. per transaction, in addition to the device costs (an EC cash device costs an average of € 300-400, but can also be rented). Boy saw the sign of the times and it really works flawlessly. I find that so remarkable because the bakery trade in particular really refuses to do so here. Instead of just putting 10ct on all rolls. hit it up and put such a stupid EC device there, buy multilingual displays that say “Cash only”. Otherwise, of course, Junge is not only convincing when it comes to payment processing, but actually in every respect. The cafes are cozy and nicely decorated. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fantastic (small breakfast + coffee for less than € 5), so now when booking a hotel I make sure that I am near a young branch. I would never again spend 15-25 € on a cheap hotel breakfast if a branch of the Junge Bakery is nearby. One could summarize: everything fits here!

Friendly service, delicious food, well-kept atmosphere

I went there especially for the Franzbrötchen, took a normal one and one with chocolate, are really good. The gourmet bag was also good. Prices are good too, staff very friendly.

Large selection, various breakfast compositions including coffee ☕️ from <5 euros! If you have a larger appetite, it can be supplemented. Very friendly "young" service. Would love to come back here again

Baked goods and coffee are delicious! But once again there was no crash ice, which is very bad at the temperatures, we were there shortly before 12 noon.

No friendliness ... and unfortunately not cheap either. Hearty breakfast without salad, but no more cheese / salami. Too bad - don't see us again.

Very inviting sales area, sitting outside is also possible. For me it was a young woman who sold me breakfast. When asked if the egg salad was homemade, they honestly knew how to answer that they didn't know. I ordered breakfast without cheese and without egg salad, but later I had cheese and egg salad on my plate. Breakfast price is average to high. I paid € 5.35 for two cribs, a small cafe, four slices of salam, butter and egg salad.

Really delicious

After I ALWAYS took my dog ​​to the Junge Filiale on Rudi Dutschke Straße (I even left a very positive Google review for it - boy thanked me for it !!), the young man at the counter told me very unfriendly that the dog has to stay outside (early in the morning at 7, no other customer available). Which wouldn't have been a problem if he'd asked kindly. When I pointed out that this was the first time, he said it wasn't true at all. Very uncomfortable because I have never seen in any other bakery that someone accuses me of not telling the truth. To the management: agree, either the dog is always allowed in or not at all. Teach your employees to be friendlier to loyal customers.

Established in 1897, Junge Die Bäckerei is a chain of bakeries/ cafes, which has over 200 locations all over Germany. Junge Die Bäckerei has a variety of baked goods ranging from pastries to bread, as well as sandwiches and breakfast platters and more. This establishment serves breakfast/ lunch. Junge Die Bäckerei has vegetarian and vegan options on thier menu. The cafe accepts cash and credit card, and they are open on sundays. I enjoyed an American style breakfast, 🙂 pastries and a coffee. The customer service was warm, and polite. If you're in a hurry,  I reccomend to choose something from the pastry side. My experience regarding the cafe was a 30 minute wait for eggs and bacon; which were atleast provided with smile (I appreciated that). Junge Die Bäckerei also has clean restrooms.

If not here ... where else? Arrive, be served nicely, choose from all the delicious things, choose one of the many individual seats .. and enjoy !!! Best, most beautiful bakery in Berlin, really !!!

Nice place, with goid pastry

Not friendly to people who don't speak German. Older couple in front of me were treated poorly and didn't even get what they wanted. Good customer service requires adapting to customer needs. A great server would be able to communicate non verbally to show the customer what they ordered and ensure they were happy with it. That's definitely not the vibe I got here - the server seemed apathetic at best, malicious at worst... Definitely not interested in helping the customer get what they wanted.

I like to go here, it s the only acceptable bakery in the area, I wished their signs would be bigger, you cannot read what s in the bread...

To sum it up this bakery offers top quality tasty products for acceptable prices although I’d expect a little bit more selection included for this price of “Veggie” breakfast. The staff members are friendly and the place is very clean with a very beautiful ambience. Seats outside are in high numbers available. The bread was fresh and clearly of excellent quality.

A good place for breakfast. A large selection of sandwiches, breads, pastries and other pastries. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs in many variants. One star less for service, which although very nice can not cope with the service of a long queue of customers. Available drinking water from a source in the premises. We were on a Sunday morning and it was cramped and international. I would recommend.

Nice cozy place to have a coffee. All coffee made from a machine and not by a barista. Pastries are also good. Its just a localized Star bucks variant

Very nice bakery deli. Need a quick bite or a place to sit and enjoy people watching. Good coffee, nice sandwiches and of course delicious pastries.

Open on Sundays and holidays, super nice staff, food and drinks are good, nice terrace, cute decor, and far away enough from Checkpoint Charlie that it's not packed.

Historical place. The border between the USSR and the USA, after the defeat of the Hitler army, checkpoint. Many different souvenir shops.

Nice place, close to check-point Charlie, but you do not feel the influx of crowds. Decent coffee and very good cake; a large selection of all kinds of sandwiches and other fresh snacks. For two medium coffees with milk and two pieces of cake with cherries we paid 8.10 euros - a decent price for coffee and cake for two people :) The upside is an interesting design :)

Friendly service with a smile, extremely accommodating and fresh food to tantalize your tastebuds. I cannot wait to revisit Berlin so I can enjoy my breakfasts here once again. Try the cherry and apple streusel!
